A customer in Mexico needed three SB40-class hydraulic breakers with mounting dimensions customized for his excavators. Rather than offering a standard unit immediately, we first reviewed the machine dimensions, working conditions and the advantages of several breaker structures.
Choosing the Structure for the Customer’s Working Conditions
We discussed three available configurations with the customer: an integrated top-type breaker, a split top-type breaker and a silenced box-type breaker. These designs differ in structure, maintenance access, noise control and suitability for different job sites.
After comparing the options against the customer’s installation requirements and actual working conditions, the customer selected the integrated top-type configuration.
The Main Challenge: Custom Dimensions for Only Three Units
The mounting bracket had to follow the dimensions supplied by the customer. Small customized orders can be difficult because many factories do not modify brackets for only three units. Through our established factory cooperation, we were able to support customization from one unit and coordinate the dimensions directly with the production team.

CONFIRMED MOUNTING DATA
- Arm width
- 255 mm
- Upper pin diameter
- 50 mm
- Lower pin diameter
- 45 mm
- Pin-center distance
- 370 mm
From Customer Measurements to Production
Before manufacturing, we confirmed the mounting width, pin diameters, pin-center distance, breaker configuration, accessories and production lead time. This confirmation step reduced the risk of receiving a breaker that could not be installed correctly.

The supplied breakers are in the SB40 68mm class and carry the factory model marking E68. This model marking is visible in the order photos.

Certificates, Export Packing and Delivery
Each breaker was supplied with a certificate of conformity and the required accessories. Every unit was protected in an individual wooden case and delivered to the customer’s nominated freight forwarder warehouse in Guangzhou for international shipment.
Field Feedback from Mexico
After receiving and using the first three breakers, the customer was pleased with their appearance and overall design. Field use also showed that several areas should be reinforced for the customer’s more demanding working conditions.
We passed the feedback to the manufacturer and coordinated upgrades to the relevant components for the next batch.

Repeat Order: Eight Upgraded Breakers
Following the first order of three units and the product improvements based on field feedback, the customer placed a repeat order for eight upgraded hydraulic breakers.
